Travel to Ananda Karnika by airport bus, KTX, express bus or car. We provide a scheduled pickup in Jeonju on the first day of each retreat.

Ananda Karnika Yoga Retreat Center is in the countryside of Wanju, close to Jeonju in South Korea’s Jeonbuk region.
Jeonju is the main transport hub for the final part of your journey. Direct airport buses, KTX trains and express buses connect Jeonju with Seoul and the major international airports.
Please plan to reach the designated Jeonju meeting point before 12:30 p.m. on the first day. Confirm the pickup location with us before travelling, as Jeonju has several stations and terminals.

From Incheon or Gimpo Airport
Take an airport limousine bus directly to Jeonju. Services depart from Incheon terminals 1 and 2 and from Gimpo Airport. This is often the simplest choice with luggage because no transfer is required.

KTX from Seoul
Take the Honam Line KTX from Seoul Station or Yongsan Station to Jeonju Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours. Advance booking is advisable, especially at weekends.

Express bus from Seoul
Buses leave Seoul Central City Bus Terminal, at Express Bus Terminal Station on subway lines 3, 7 and 9, and arrive at Jeonju Express Bus Terminal. Allow about 2 hours 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

Meet us in Jeonju at 12:30 p.m.
We meet retreat guests in Jeonju at 12:30 p.m. on the first day and bring the group to Ananda Karnika.
Please arrive early enough to find the agreed meeting point. Jeonju has a railway station and several bus terminals, so check your confirmation message carefully and contact us before travelling if anything is unclear.

A little preparation makes the final part of your journey simple and relaxed.
Book KTX or intercity transport early when travelling on weekends or public holidays. Save the Korean address and our contact number on your phone before departure.
Tell us how you plan to arrive and notify us promptly if your flight, train or bus is delayed. If you miss the scheduled pickup, you will need to take a taxi from Jeonju using the address above.
